Our office is closed but we’re still here to help
Like you, we’re watching the evolving situation with COVID -19 closely – grappling with both the human and health implications, and the associated financial and economic impacts it presents for people and businesses across the globe.
As always, our key priority is the safety of our team members, clients, and our direct community. We want to assure you that we are taking steps to safeguard our business, so we can continue to offer you the highest level of service during the coming weeks and months. We believe the best immediate response from our business is strong support for social distancing initiatives, until such time as a cure or vaccine becomes available or the virus is contained.
Effective immediately, we are throwing our business’ full weight behind social distancing measures, in an attempt to help flatten the curve on coronavirus globally.
As of the close of business today – Thursday 26 March 2020:
- We will be closing our office until further notice.
- All Westwoods team members will now be working remotely from home.
- All essential client meetings will be conducted via phone/video conferences (Zoom and Skype).
- We will continue to be available by phone, email and by video link.
- All current client appointments will go ahead as scheduled, conducted via video hook-up or telephone.
We know that now, more than ever, you may wish to speak with us to make smart, proactive decisions for yourselves and loved ones. Rest assured, we will be here for you, and it is business as usual.
We also urge all of you that are eligible to receive the Government stimulus to lodge your next and future BAS on time in order to receive the benefits.
If you have not yet lodged your 2019 tax or are behind on your affairs, we strongly urge you now to take action.
We acknowledge that our service in the next few weeks will likely have moments of imperfection as we figure out the intricacies of working with social distance, but we are going to press forward regardless – for the good of our community and for those who must attend their workplaces. Through efforts like ours, we hope that those on the front lines can continue to operate, as safely as possible.
We care deeply about our clients, staff, and community, and the steps our team has taken will ensure our commitment to maintaining a high level of service will be maintained with as little interruption as possible.
